5 Free Tools to Make Your Website Mobile Ready

Posted by John Saddington on Mar 6, 2010

There are already tons of services, applications, and even WordPress Plugins (15+ here!) that’ll make your site mobile-ready. In fact, there will probably be 10 more by the time I finish writing this article…

But here are 5 that I’ve noticed (and tried) that aren’t too bad; in fact, they are quite good.

Take a look:

1. Mippin

Mippin is easy and if you’re interested in just having a simple RSS-driven site then check this out.

Seriously, this one’s a good one.

2. Wirenode

Hey, 33,000+ websites have trusted themselves to Wirenode. Why not you? They’ve even got a simply interface to edit.

Take a look!

3. Zinadoo

This one’s just as quick and easy as the last two, and maybe even more so. Widgets for web and text/email services are built in too.

You can even optimize the site for Google with keywords and tags via Zinadoo. Wow!

4. Winksite

I didn’t like the name of Winksite but that might be the only thing I didn’t really like.Built on W3C mobileOK standards (as well as .mobi standards) this service focuses on getting your site out there.

Chats, polls, forums, and more can help you create a portal for you and your community.

5. MobiSiteGalore

Fun name, right? MobiSiteGalore offers a number of neat features like a mobile site builder and paypal integration.

Got any more for me?

  1. Anyone experienced with using any of these services?

Or others for that matter? I’m quite interested, thanks :)

    • i’ve tried all of them out.

      • Did you have a favorite out of these? (Great list by the way!)

  2. I’ll have to check these out. Thanks for the list

  3. Thanks for the plugins and reviews. Better make sure your mobile ready or you’re going to be left behind!

  4. What about using the itouch plugin for wordpress. That is what I use and I think it solves most of the problems for me with a one touch install.
